I like Urth Cafe on Melrose (have never tried the other location). Their taco salad is simply delicious and they have terrific lemonade and desserts. You may even spot a celebrity. |

Morning |
I'd spend the morning on a drive up the Pacific Coast highway and over Mulholland. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and then gorgeous old houses. |

Take in some art at the Getty Museum. The garden in particular is peaceful and beautifully tended. |

Check out the latest offerings at the Mark Taper Forum. You're certain to find a play worth watching, usually with a name you recognize. |
